Anyone know when the registration packages are coming out for the Advanced competition on February 8/04? Or when the deadline for registering a team is?

Information should be ready soon... don't worry, lots of time left. Just start practicing with your team! The official mailing of the competition info, rules, and registration is almost ready and I hope will be posted here on this site soon.

Good luck!

The competitions in May - are they National or International? And by International, does that mean what it implies (will we be competing from teams across the world)? All of the releases on the competitions I've read have said both names, kindly forgive my confusion regarding the subject.

Indeed, our tri-annual Canadian National Brigade Patient Care Competition this year in Vancouver has an International flavour. This year, Canada has extended an invitation to St. John's other Priories and a number of them will be joining us in Vancouver to participate with us.

Yep, Don you are absolutely right. Our invitation has been accepted and at this point, we have teams joining us from the Priories of England, New Zealand, Whales, and North Ireland!

We are very excited here in BC about the competitions. I, having competed in Toronto in 2001 on the Open Team am really looking forward to seeing new faces, hopefully renewing old friendships and being part of a fantastic event.

There is lots to see and do in Vancouver, if you have never been, you are in for a real treat. Our team in 2001 planned ahead to stay in town (Toronto) for a week, following the event to sight see and such. If you can afford it, it sure would be a memorable experience.

So, practice hard, I know our BC teams are doing just that. And...when you come out in May...BRING IT ON, BC and the World awaits you!

See you all soon.

Oooo Oooo add yet another International Team. I have just been advised that we have a team that has confirmed its intent to compete. BC also now welcomes the team coming from Ghana!

See you all soon.
